Doug Williams, a former NFL quarterback, did suffer a stroke in September 2019. He was attending a game at the Los Angeles Rams' stadium when he suddenly felt numbness in his left arm. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered that he had suffered a mild stroke. Doug Williams is currently recovering from the stroke and has been vocal about the importance of recognizing the signs and symptoms of stroke and seeking medical attention immediately.
